It's now officially "The year of the sheep" and therefore time to reveal the big secret to the herd

For all of the cute but disillusioned and brainwashed sheeple in the rooms, today is the day that they can unshackle the chains that bind them and they can for the last time chant in unison those immortal words; "WE THINK NOT".
Only this time they can scream that chant when asked "Are you an alcoholic?"

Why and how is this possible? Because I am now going to enlighten them with the truth that will set them free.
That truth is simply that ........You are NOT alcoholics, you can go home now! You can rejoin your families and the rest of the "normies" that you cast out of your lives.

Ah, I can hear the elders of the sheepdom saying, "Bah, Bah, what's this wolf talking about. He's just tricking and confusing us and getting us dizzy with false hope so that he can then eat us."
No, no, I say to you fuzzy elders, it's not like that at all.

You are free because if you are all telling the truth about the amount of "time" that you have, then that means that you have been free for exactly that long. Why?

Because in order to be an "alcoholic", you have to drink "alcoholically"! If you don't drink and haven't been for XYZ amount of time, you cannot possibly be considered an alcoholic. The day you put the bottle down, is the day you CHOSE to no longer own that label. There is no "disease" doing pushups in the parking lot.

Events may occur that may make you unsettled and have you lean on your crutch once again but if that happens, it doesn't erase the "time" that you've had, it doesn't mean you are sinner or that your character defects have reared their heads and it doesn't mean that your disease is back from the gym after a workout. It would mean that life threw you a curve ball and you now have to once again make the CHOICE to find other ways of hitting that curve.

It's Ok, you'll be fine. Heck, it might never happen and you might find that some day you can even drink with the normies in a normie way because you no longer have that irrepressible desire to numb something out.

But in either case, in the meantime you are free to return to life unencumbered by dogmatic lies, slogans, chanting, disempowering orders (suggestions) and the like.

You don't drink, therefore you can't be alcoholics and therefore you don't NEED the Sheepdom anymore. You never did.

Truth is, once you made the decision to stop, your imaginary disease disappeared.

Congratulations and Happy New Year Sheeple, you may go in peace and you are free to move about your life :-)

Peace out,

Rolf

DUI’s, forced treatment (mandatory AA attendance), and incarceration-Big Brother needs to Butt Out!

The first and most obvious reason why nobody on this planet, or at least in this country, should be forced to attend AA meetings for a DUI conviction is due to the fact that to do so goes against the establishment clause of the First Amendment of our very own constitution. You know, separation of church and state and all that.

This stupid idea that the courts should somehow be our conscience and try to help us with our “problem” by sending us to AA or rehab or counseling, etc….is very creepy and Orwellian.

Look, alcohol consumption is LEGAL in this country. Let me decide if it’s a problem that I want to address. Sure, if I break the law as a result of my choice to drink and drive, then an appropriate penalty addressing that specific offense is in order. That penalty should address my right to drive, not my moral compass.

I also think that incarceration is also a tad drastic for such offenses unless there is bodily injury or death that occur as a result.

So what to do then?

I don’t think it’s all that complicated. Driving IS a privilege and nothing to be taken lightly considering that automobiles weigh several tons and can cause significant harm if used recklessly.

We have laws to adhere to so that the general population is protected as much as possible. Where there are laws, we have something called a “Penal” system for those who break them.

Penal as in penalty. So if you abuse your rights to drive, then as a penalty, your rights to drive should be curtailed if not revoked.

So, I think for a first offense, you should have your license suspended for 3 months (with a work allowance to drive to and from your job)

2nd time? Shame on you, you should have known better. One year suspension without any provisional allowances.

3rd time? Loser, suspended for life. No more drive time for you pal. If you’re caught driving, 6 months in the hole unless it was a matter of life or death like getting someone to a hospital in an emergency or something like that.

Hey, if people realize that they have an issue, then help should be made available to them if they want it but it shouldn’t be mandated and forced down their throat, especially if that help is nothing more than faith healing.

Hi, I'm Rolf and I'm an ex-alcoholic. I am NOT powerless nor have I surrendered my will and my life to God, AA or any other higher power for that matter. I have simply made a decision, through the power of free will, to evolve and leave the bottle behind.
